Spears of Goodness!

Fresh asparagus marks the coming of spring. At Barrie Brothers Asparagus farm, the asparagus is handpicked, and looks so fresh that it’s tempting to take a bite right then and there.  One of my favorite asparagus dishes to make on a busy weeknight is prosciutto-wrapped asparagus. It’s a simple dish, and can be done in just 20 minutes, yet the flavour is amazing!

1. Usually, to start off, you would break off the tough ends of the asparagus. With fresh asparagus however, there’s no need to do this, because the ends are just as tender as the tips. Read more »
